At UBA Regional Charter School, we believe that students thrive in environments where expectations are clear and consistent at all levels, and where students are known — not only by their peers, but by the entire school community.
The business, entrepreneurship and economics focus — inherent in the school’s mission and philosophy — will span across the entire curriculum. UBA Regional Charter School will not only augment its delivery of instruction in the core and supplemental academic subject areas to include topics in business administration
and entrepreneurship — rather, the founders of UBA Regional Charter School intend for the middle school to function as, — and model that of a preparatory business school academic environment.
To this end, UBA Regional Charter School will use and apply heavy emphasis upon inquiry-based instructional methods such as performance-based learning, problem-based learning and learning by design. UBA Regional Charter School will be serving 6th through 8th grades in the NJ Public School Districts of Teaneck, Englewood and Hackensack.
