Our unique program consists of young people in recovery and bereaved parents sharing their personal stories about the effects of addiction. Members are local and are often alumni of the schools themselves, thus providing a special connection to the students and demonstrating just how close to home the problem is. One thing is certain: addiction doesn’t only happen elsewhere! It’s happening right in your school.
A peer-to-peer approach discussing the root causes of drug and alcohol addiction. We are flexible and willing to help meet your student body’s needs. We can provide references from other schools’ guidance counselors or SACs upon request.

members, bereaved parents share their personal experience.
HOW CAN YOU ENGAGE THE PARENTS?
Northern Valley Regional High School, for example, has had great success in mandating that at least one parent attend a pre-prom program before their child can go to the prom. With the new school year starting, now’s the time to consider such a program.
EMPHASIZING THE IMPACT OF ALUMNI IN RECOVERY’S MESSAGE.
Many schools provide a student-based presentation during the school day to coincide with a parent presentation. This allows the family to have an important, well-informed conversation together afterwards.
Let us help you start the conversation. Schedule a presentation at your school today.
